Reports, call summaries and chat then run on your provider account and are billed by them. Transcribe calls on your own OpenAI Whisper or Deepgram key too. Don't have an account? Frequently asked questions
How does billing work?+
Plans are billed in rand as a monthly or yearly card subscription through Netcash Pay Now, a PCI-DSS compliant South African gateway. You can also pay any plan, credit pack or domain by EFT and upload your proof of payment. We never see or store your card number.
What are AI credits?+
Credits pay for the AI that writes reports, summarises calls and answers chat questions (1 credit ≈ R0.01). Every plan includes a monthly allowance. Top-up credits never expire and are only used once your allowance runs out. Roughly: 6 credits per 1,000 words the AI reads, 30 per 1,000 it writes, and 15 per minute of call audio transcribed.
Can I use my own OpenAI, Anthropic or Gemini account?+
Yes. Connect your own API key from OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Google Gemini, Mistral, Groq, xAI, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, Azure OpenAI or any OpenAI-compatible service. AI usage is then billed by your provider and Summarix uses no credits.
How do automatic top-ups work?+
Choose a credit pack and a schedule (weekly to yearly) and Netcash charges your card automatically. Or set a low-balance threshold: we'll prepare a top-up and send you a one-click payment link with your saved card.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Cancel from Billing in your dashboard. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, then reverts to Free. Scheduled top-ups can be cancelled at any time.
Is my data used to train AI models?+
No. Data is sent to the AI provider only to generate your report or summary, with personal information masked first, and is not used for training.
Do you offer enterprise or on-premise?+
Yes. Contact us for custom seat counts, SSO, data residency and on-premise deployments.
